At the census of 1901, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 482 inhabitants.
In Fort-Coulonge the Jewell House which later became the Labine Hotel was constructed on the current property of the Laurentian Bank. In 1979 it was demolished by fire.
1902
Publication of a newpaper "La Voix de l'Outaouais" - The Ottawa Voice from Bryson.
1910
The last squared wood raft passes the Grand-Calumet channel, South-East of Fort-Coulonge.
1911
At the census of 1911, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 811 inhabitants.

1914
A devastating fire demolished the villages of Portage du Fort and Bryson. In Bryson more than 94 homes were demolished.
1921
At the census, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 973 inhabitants.
1922
Construction of the Saint-Pierre School at Fort-Coulonge.
1923
Construction of St-Pierre`s Church at Fort-Coulonge.
Construction of the dam at Bryson at the location of Calumet Chute (30m difference in level on 1 kilometre). This dam Will increase the water level of the channel from Grand-Calumet to Fort-Coulonge. That's why the cultivated fields are now the Grand-Marais Lake.
1931
At the census, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 1130 inhabitants.
1939
The municipal council of Fort-Coulonge, supported by the Council of the County, made a request to the Quebec government for the continuation of the National Road #8 (Highway 148) from Sheenboro to Témiscamingue. Unfortunately, the road will never be finished.
1941
At the census, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 1072 inhabitants.
1950
Construction of the Poupore School at Fort-Coulonge.
1955
Construction of the College of Education Standards Saint-Michel at Fort-Coulonge.
The Davidson sawmill is sold to J.E. Boyle.
1956
Jean-Baptiste Migneault built a sawmill along the side of Deposit Lake at Davidson, a few kilometres North of the Coulonge Falls.
1959
Construction of the Youville school at Fort-Coulonge.
1961
At the census, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 1823 inhabitants.
1962
Jean-Baptiste Migneault's sawmill is built again in the Mansfield municipality in the St-Camille area.
1964
The Marchand covered bridge (Red bridge) is renovated to be again functional. It will be done over several periods in the next few years.
1965
The Davidson sawmill is sold to E.B. Eddy.
May 6 1966
A fire destroys the E.B. Eddy's sawmill. The Re-construction started on January, 23, with the sawmill in operation again by 1967.
1967
M. Rémi Fortin buys the Jean-Baptiste Migneault's sawmill, located at Mansfield. This sawmill is called Fortin Industries until 1995.
1968
Inauguration of a new bridge, The Mgr Martel Bridge, between Bryson and Grand Calumet Island.
1971
At the census, Fort-Coulonge has a population of 1784 inhabitants.
Opening of the secondary High school Sieur de Coulonge.
1972
The Coulonge river overflows and floods the village of Fort-Coulonge. This happened because the Village is located at the place where the Ottawa River and the Fort-Coulonge River join. The Ottawa River being full of water, and being more powerful forced back the Coulonge water.
1979
The Coulonge river is again very high in Spring, and it overflows and floods the village again.
1982
Renovation of George Bryson's wood house located near the Red covered bridge on the Coulonge River. Built in 1854, this house was deserted for 40 years.
1988
Celebration of the 100th birthday of the village of
Fort-Coulonge.
1991
At the census, Fort-Coulonge had a population of 1431 inhabitants.
1995
Construction of the Chutes Coulonge site.
The sawmill of the Fortin industries is sold and called Produits Forestiers Coulonge.
1996
Celebration of 25th Anniversary of the secondary high school Sieur de Coulonge.
1998
Following a fire, the Produits Forestiers Coulonge sawmill is built again in the Litchfield municipality, a few kilometres East of Fort-Coulonge.
