MUNICIPAL BULLETIN – VOLUME 4

Edition of: April 11, 2007

INFORMATION:

SPRING CLEANING TIME!

In the coming days, if it is not already done, we will be proceeding with cleaning our town streets and our sidewalks. Take advantage of this opportunity to clean your yard and surroundings at the same time.

This year, the official Town cleaning day will be held on May 5th, regardless of the weather.  To participate to this conscious raising event, we will be waiting for you at the Fire Hall at 8:30 am.

OPEN SPACE FIRE

It is PROHIBITED at all times to burn branches, grass or other materials in the town of Fort-Coulonge. Thank you for your collaboration!

OWNING A DOG IN FORT-COULONGE…

What does it mean? Having control of your preferred animal at all times, possessing a medal, picking up it’s droppings on public grounds and not letting it become a nuisance to neighbours.  To obtain a license or to signal something, please communicate with the Town Office at (819) 683-2259 or with the town animal controller Mr. Jacques Fortin at (819) 683-2357.

VOLUNTEER WEEK - from the 15 to 21st of April 2007

Under the theme ‘A quiet force at the Quebec’s society’s service’: such as a tree very rich in branches, Quebec’s society is relying on its healthy roots, solid and diversified.  Its well being rests on volunteer work of which its quiet force is measured at the root of all communities.  A great THANK YOU… to all volunteers!

PARKING ON THE SIDEWALKS

Let’s think about this!  Pedestrians also have a right to there space… it’s a question of good citizenship!
