MUNICIPAL BULLETIN – VOLUME 5

INFORMATION:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COULONGIEN!

It has already been 4 years that the news bulletin 'Le Coulongien' is at your disposal. This tool aims at informing you about meetings to come, of municipal projects in progress, activities offered within our community, to remind you of by-laws in effect, to inform you of programs or organizations at your disposal, all this, with a touch of good wishes and small glimpses related to our history.

We encourage you to leave your comments and suggestions at the Municipal Office or send an e-mail to b.pare@fortcoulonge.qc.ca ...an indispensable tool to serve you better!

RECYCLING REMINDER – TWO IMPORTANT MESSAGES

Of one, please undo your cardboard boxes; it takes less space! Of two, 5 recycling bins are at your disposal thus, when the bin is full, please use another one; it's much cleaner!

NOTE: please pass on this message to our neighbours of the sector 'Chemin de la passe' and those of 'Grand Marais' who do not receive the Coulongien. Thank you for your collaboration.

NO PARKING ON BAUME STREET

Your municipality asks for your collaboration in respect to the no parking zone on the north side of Baume Street (Laurentian Bank) and this, from the cycloparc to the intersection of Baume-Principale.

Parking is allowed the opposite side of the street as well as on adjacent streets.  Thank you for thinking of others!

HAPPY RETIREMENT!

Your Voluntary Fire Brigade wishes to sincerely thank Mr. Jean-Claude Fortin for the 25 beautiful years of services provided to the population of Fort-Coulonge. Your Municipality joins with the brigade and wishes him a pleasant retirement. Thank you Jean-Claude!

YOUR MUNICIPAL COUNCIL

Next regular scheduled meetings will be held on Wednesdays, the 5th of March and 2nd of April, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Welcome to all!

With Easter, also comes the return of spring
