THE BAG OF GOODIES
Halloween… A magical and fantastic event that awakens the child in all of us. Not only is there the disguise and the wandering in the streets but there is also the famous harvest of surprises. Even if we have to examine the content, most of the time children are delighted with their gatherings: Candies, caramels, bubble gum (sugarless goes without saying) chips and chocolates all come back systematically.
For a few years now, children have been discovering nice and different surprises. Added to candies (always appreciated by the 2-12 clan) are such things as: Stickers, coloured crayons, and coupons to popular restaurants, amusing erasers, arts and craft accessories such as pearls or even origami paper. The donors are showing a lot of imagination, which brings great joy to the children, their parents… and mostly their dentist. What kids prefer is a combination of both. The secret to success is that the children prepare the bags because they know what is in style and they offer voluntarily their help to choose what will please.
